Holding “Doggy” when sucking thumb
February 7th, 2010 When my child sucks her thumb she has a ritual of pulling the tag between her fingers with her other hand on her stuffed animal “Doggy” rhythmically. She has been doing that with the same dog for 4 years now. I don’t know whether to take doggy away or cut the tag off or what. Cutting the tag off would be like cutting its head off to her. What should I do?
