I have two students who are able to do horizontal and lateral differentiation but they stick the tip of their tongue up as their doing it and can\u2019t seem to control it and straighten it. That is absolutely OK because all we\u2019re testing for lateral differentiation is the smooth back and forth without the mandibular (jaw) involvement, and with the horizontal we are looking at the forward and backward movement without jaw involvement.<\/strong><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi Sandra, I had just one questions about Orofacial Myology exercises in phase 1.
