Zohara was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, where she graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech Pathology. She is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and has worked in private practice and with teletherapy. Zohara is additionally a Qualified Orofacial Myologist (QOM).
Zohara moved to New York from Sydney in 2017 where she has been honing her skills and training within orofacial myology. After she completed NHS's Orofacial Myology: From Basics to Habituation course in late 2017, she joined the NHS team in 2018 as a social media administrator and course facilitator role that she shares with Karen Masters. Zohara creates social media marketing content and moderates NHS's Facebook and Instagram page, Oral Habits, to educate the public and therapists about the consequences of oral habits and NHS's habit-elimination programs: Unplugging The Thumb, Growing The Nails, and Bye Pacifier.
In her spare time, Zohara loves to travel, embroider, bake, and take on DIY projects.
