Becky Ellsworth, AAS, RDH, BS, COM, QOM

Becky Ellsworth has been an RDH for over 30 years and has worked both in Texas and Michigan in private dental practices. Upon moving to Kalamazoo, Michigan in the early 80’s, she became interested in Orofacial Myology when she was brought on staff for the Dental Hygiene program at Kalamazoo Valley Community College (KVCC). Becky had the privilege of being mentored by Marge Snow, one of the trailblazers in the speciality area of Orofacial Myology. Marge helped pioneer a full year Orofacial Myology course that was built into the dental hygiene curriculum. Not long after Marge’s retirement from KVCC in the 90’s, Becky became, and still is, the instructor of this course.

Becky also works as a Qualified Orofacial Myologist (QOM) at Kalamazoo Speech Associates, a private speech/ orofacial myology clinic. Additionally, Becky chaired the Board of Examiners for the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) for eight years and sat on their Board of Directors.

In 2014, Becky had the extreme pleasure of joining forces with Sandra Holtzman as an instructor for teaching training courses through Neo-Health Services (NHS).  Their graduates are found on 6 continents!

Becky holds the NHS position of overseeing the assessment components of Qualification in Orofacial Myology for NHS course participants.  She also provides presentations and other training courses throughout the US and Canada.
