Becky Ellsworth, AAS, RDH, BS, QOM

Becky Ellsworth has been an RDH for over 30 years and has worked in Texas and Michigan in private dental practices. Upon moving to Kalamazoo, Michigan, in the early 80’s, Becky became interested in Orofacial Myology when she was brought on staff for the Dental Hygiene program at Kalamazoo Valley Community College (KVCC). Becky had the privilege of being mentored by Marge Snow, one of the trailblazers in the specialty area of Orofacial Myology. Marge helped pioneer a full-year Orofacial Myology course that was built into the dental hygiene curriculum. Not long after Marge’s retirement from KVCC in the 90’s, Becky became the instructor of this course.

Becky's experience also includes having worked as a Qualified Orofacial Myologist (QOM) at Kalamazoo Speech Associates, a private speech/ orofacial myology clinic. Additionally, Becky chaired the Board of Examiners for the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) for eight years and sat on their Board of Directors.

In 2014, Becky had the extreme pleasure of joining the Neo-Health Services (NHS) Team as a course instructor. She delights in the fact that NHS graduates are found on 6 continents!

Becky sits on the QOM Examiner's Committee, overseeing the assessment components for NHS course participants.  She also provides presentations to groups throughout the US and Canada.
