Dr. Karen Wuertz serves as the Dental Representative to the Neo-Health Team and is the Credentialing Chair for the American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and completed her General Practice Residency at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in MO. She attended Tufts University Dental Sleep Medicine Mini Residency and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP) TMD Mini-Residency, and received her Fellowship in the Academy in 2014. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Laser Surgery (ABLS), a Diplomate in the American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine (ABCDSM), and has earned the Qualified Dentist Designation in the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She ( SHE'S) both a Qualified Orofacial Myologist, and a Fellow of Orofacial Myology. She served as Dental Faculty of Creighton University, The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and currently at her Alma Mater, the University of Texas Health Science Center. Dental School in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Wuertz has published numerous papers on restorative & cosmetic dentistry, Biomaterials and most recently on the effect of CO2 laser surgery and the Oral Restrictive Complex (O.R.C.TM), OMDs and Sleep Medicine.
