Recessed chin

Q:  Recessed chin: What is done by ortho to fix this and starting at what age would they address it?

A:  This is a question that should be addressed by an orthodontist.  I can merely give some input about it but not extensive information.  This depends upon the type of system the orthodontist or specialized DDS is using on the client.  Some systems begin with quite young children.  Others believe in waiting until certain growth factors occur, while there are others that depend upon presence or absence of airway interference, etc.  If you can find out what type of ortho is planned and then put this on Myo Masters FB, I believe you will get some good answers.
