10 year old son who sucks his thumb

I have a 10 year old son who sucks his thumb and I have no idea how to get him to stop.  I have talked to him about quitting and he absolutely disagrees with me.

Have you had the chance to look over most of the http://www.unpluggingthethumb.com/pages?  There is no way we can force him to begin the program, but if it is presented in a positive way, we hope he will make the decision to quit on his own.  If you didn’t catch my video on the website, listen to it and see if it helps at all. I tell the child that there is a fun way to quit within ten days and ask if he’d like to quit if we can show him how to do it like other kids have done. The kit includes a video that shows the damage of sucking habits and how happy kids are once they quit.
