Is there much business success with students who have a hygiene background that take this class and try to build their own practice?
There are many success stories; in fact, I recently did the onsite visit with an RDH in the Midwest, who is very successful, has a beautiful office, and a good number of clients. RDHs from Chicago to Alberta, Canada, to Florida to California have found success in business. There is no way to guarantee anything, of course, since it depends upon your business sense, your dedication and time devoted, the area where you live as far as what works best and with whom, etc. The possibility is there, for sure. It takes time to establish yourself but it is well worth it in the end as far as doing something helpful to others and satisfying to yourself.
