He was not able to pucker/move the upper lip at all and the lower lip barely moved. He had a very long philtrum. I know that the noxious habit has to be eliminated before beginning any type of work...

Although she tends to have a rounded tongue in the mid portion. I would like to see the tongue have more of flat table appearance I believe. I suspect she is gaining control of some of the intrinsic muscles but not all.

Concerned because we have not been able to break her thumb sucking habit, we have been wrapping her thumb with elastic sports bandage which keeps her from sucking as long as she has it on, but as soon as it comes off the thumb goes back in the mouth. Also, when her thumb is wrapped she sucks on her tongue with her hand near her mouth

The digit sucking.... She ceased this behavior, as of Fall - I'm thinking it was late October. I have seen her, however, now enjoy a lot of tongue gymnastics, twisting and curling her tongue between her front teeth - a form of tongue chewing, I would say

He is easily able to narrow his tongue at will during the exercise and has good tongue/jaw dissociation during oral movements. However, once /s/ is produced, the lateral sides go right up to those molars!!
