Tonsillectomy little girl can’t make H sound

I have a little girl who got her tonsils out and has returned to me (5yrs)
doing therapy with her but noticed that she is not able to say "H". I have her pretend to do katate and punch her arms out and go
'huh' as karate people do! Any more ideas?
Interceptive Class III device usage

I saw a patient the other day that was given the i-3 Interceptive Class III device to wear... The child is 6 years old (7 in May) and presents with edge to edge occlusion, open mouth rest posture and history of upper respiratory infections, ear infections, tonsillitis, strep x2, seasonal allergies and what appears to be possible dairy sensitivities... Some SLP members of the IAOM had been inappropriately ordering and fitting such appliances...
When Sockie falls off

After watching the CD, my son decided to quit. He wore the Sockie to bed, but it either fell off during the night or he removed it in his sleep. After a few nights, he said Sockie was gone. He must have thrown it away. The dentist told him that he is going to put a rake into his mouth in two weeks if he doesn’t stop sucking his thumb.

9-year-old client who was diagnosed as an infant with a tongue tie but parents were advised not to have it clipped at the time. As a result, he had tremendous feeding problems which mom recalls were a “nightmare.”

I just screened a new resident post CVA with noted aphasia in her record and some dysarthria. On exam, her tongue had a fairly significant fissure at midline. Any recommendations for healing?

Can you tell me how to train labial not lingual receiving of liquids from cup and straw?
Should they anchor at the spot or dangle tongue tip just behind teeth?

I assume he is able to obtain and maintain suction. But, he can't slurp. We have tried numerous ways. I’ve tried to show him
what my tongue does, and showed him placement in the mirror.
