1.In your opinion and in the research, will treating the forward resting inter dental tongue posture of an individual with Down Syndrome improve articulation? I work with a 6 yr old girl with DS and apart from all the language work, I must better address her weak oral musculature, tongue and lip and jaw posture but

I am using your Myo Manual Treatment Program with my clients and have run in to a few other questions if you have time. I have a student who successfully eliminated his finger sucking and guitar pick sucking habit recently and has made very nice progress with phase 1. I wanted to understand the purpose

February 7th, 2010 When my child sucks her thumb she has a ritual of pulling the tag between her fingers with her other hand on her stuffed animal “Doggy” rhythmically. She has been doing that with the same dog for 4 years now. I don’t know whether to take doggy away or cut the tag

I am a parent of a 3 year old. My child had a rough start, she was born early and was hospitalized for about 5 months with major complications including malignant sleep apnea, difficulty feeding, PDA ligation, IVH III (no shunt at this time), and a cerebellar stroke.
